What Is Bulk Trash Pickup?
Bulk trash includes large household items that don’t fit in your standard 96-gallon trash bin. Common examples include:
- Mattresses and box springs
- Bed frames or headboards
- Couches, chairs, and recliners
- Cabinets, dressers, and shelving
- Water heaters or other small appliances
- Rolled carpet (must be under 50 lbs and tied in 4-ft sections)
- Bagged or boxed residential construction debris
Important: Items must be light enough for one person to lift and safe to handle.
How It Works
No need to schedule—just place your bulk item out on your regular pickup day. Here’s what to know:
✔ One Bulk Item per Week
Place one large item at the curb by 6 a.m. on your regular collection day. We’ll pick it up at no extra cost.
✔ Need More Pickups?
Have more than one item or need help on a different day? Contact our office to schedule a special pickup. Additional fees may apply depending on the number and size of the items.
✔ Place Items Next to Your Trash Cart
Bulk items must be set curbside next to your regular bin. We may skip collecting items if they are left inside containers or hidden from view.
