We closed out 2025 with a full calendar of community events that kept the Tri-State Disposal team busy all season long—parades, drives, festivals, and neighborhood gatherings that brought us closer to the communities we serve. It was also a milestone year as we celebrated Tri-State Disposal’s 30th Anniversary, reflecting on three decades of service, growth, and partnership. We’re sharing highlights from the season, the impact we made together, and what’s ahead as we roll into 2026. Thanks for being part of the journey.
Toy Drive:
Throughout the month of December, Tri-State collected donations and toys for their Annual Toy Drive, resulting in 1,318 toys, 17 bikes, 80 gift cards, 21 toiletry sets, and 99 clothing items (including jackets, purses, hats, and gloves). Donations were distributed to the Riverdale Police Department, Riverdale Park District, and Together We Cope in Tinley Park, supporting children and families during the season. We want to thank everyone who donated and contributed to make this effort possible.
Blue Island Lights Festival:
Tri-State Disposal joined the festivities with a parade truck decked out as the Grinch “stealing” presents—complete with bright lights, cheeky details, and plenty of Whoville spirit. Families lined the streets with cocoa in hand, kids pointed and laughed at the Grinch’s antics, and our crew loved waving back and soaking in the smiles. It was a fun, family-friendly festival that brought neighbors together and kicked off the Christmas season in the best way. We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up to celebrate, support local traditions, and spread cheer. Big thanks to the event organizers and volunteers who kept everything running smoothly and safely.
